| Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license |
| Green industry professionals that apply chemical treatments to their customer¿s ornamental plant material will have the opportunity to review important horticultural subject matter they will need to know before obtaining their spray licenses. This review is for landscapers seeking their Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license (LCLM). This license, also known as the "Round-up license", is required by state law for landscape professionals that apply certain "caution" labeled chemicals to ornamental beds on a "for hire" basis.
This review is also intended for golf course and grounds maintenance professionals seeking their Ornamental and Turf Pest Control license (O&T) for pesticide applications to turf and ornamentals on golf courses, athletic fields, parks, and cemetery grounds. Continuing Education Units are also available for those individuals that already hold their Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance, Ornamental and Turf, and Private Applicator Agricultural pest control licenses.
Class is Wednesday, June 13th from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the UF/IFAS Citrus County Extension office. Cost for the includes lunch and six Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Pre-registration is required by June 11th, 2012. |
