Commercial or Multi - Family Impact Fee Promissory Note

The undersigned, in recognition of the obligation to pay the Impact Fee imposed by Citrus County Ordinances No. 86-11 and No. 88-08 upon the commencement of impact generating land development activity, hereby unconditionally promises to pay to the order of Citrus County the principal sum of ___________________________________________________ dollars ($_________________), prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy on development in Citrus County for which a building permit will be pulled. Citrus County agrees to allow the fee payer to delay payment of the Impact Fee due at the time of issuance of a building permit, and to forego the collection of this note until the FINAL INSPECTION IS REQUESTED. This obligation runs with the land upon which the impact generating land development activity occurs.

Each maker waives demand, protest and notice of maturity, nonpayment of protest and all requirements necessary to hold them liable as makers.

Each maker further agrees to pay all costs of collection, including a reasonable attorney's fee, in case the principal of this note is not paid when required by Citrus County Ordinances No. 86-11 and No. 88-08, or in cases it becomes necessary to collect from fee payer who is impacting facilities without the requisite Certificate of Occupancy, whether suit be brought or not.
