Land Development Code (LDC) Re-write
The Department of Development Services is in the process of rewriting the Land Development Code (LDC). The primary purpose of the LDC is to provide guidance to
accomplish coordinated, adjusted, and harmonious development in accordance with existing and future needs of the County by promoting orderly development of
residential, agricultural, business, industrial, recreation, and public areas, while protecting, and where necessary, preserving our valuable natural resources.
Advertised public hearings will be conducted by the Planning and Development Review Board as well as the Board of County Commissioners. Public input is welcome. For additional information please contact the Department of Development Services.
