2035 Long Range Transportation Plan
Adopted: September 14, 2010

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is conducting an update of the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for the forecast year of 2035. The LRTP represents the 20-year vision for Citrus County’s transportation system. The LRTP considers all principal modes of transportation as an integrated system including highways, public transportation, bikeways and pedestrian facilities.

Public Outreach - The project public involvement process will include on-going activities throughout the development of the Citrus County 2035 LRTP and specific strategies to address each of the three phases of the plan development process:

Phase I - Regional Visioning
Phase II - Technical, Practical, and Feasible Corridors
Phase III - Implementation Actions
