November: "ADOPT A SENIOR PET" month.

November is "Adopt a Senior Pet Month" and CCFAP is sponsoring a half price adoption on all pets 6 years and older for the month of November.  Older animals are often passed over at a shelter in favor of younger ones.  Senior pets have so much love and compassion to share and they make the most amazing companions. They are so grateful for the second chance you give them. Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCAFP) and Citrus County Animal Services would like to encourage individuals to consider senior pets when adding a new member to their family.

To view our senior pets, please visit www.citruscritters.com/senior_dogs.htm, visit Citrus County Animal Services located at 4030 S. Airport Road in Inverness, or call (352) 746-8400 for more information.

Lost Dog?

Have you lost your pet?

There are a lot of folks here in Citrus County that do not know to call Citrus County Animal Services in the case that their pet is lost or missing.

You can either visit the Citrus County Animal Shelter at 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL., or you can visit their website at www.citruscritters.com to see if your pet had been brought to the shelter.

Their website is live - meaning if your pet has been brought to the shelter, and has been impounded, you will have instant access to see if your pet is there. Visit this page to see our adoptable animals and/or to see if your lost/missing pet has been brought to the shelter.
